Heather has been working as a birth & postpartum doula for 4 years. She found her passion and calling within the birthing community in Asheville, NC before heading back home to the Triangle to pursue her dreams. She lives in Chapel Hill with her partner, Miles, and their one year old son, Atlas. They enjoy working on the family farm, being outdoors, live music, and the community & family they have grown up in. Aside from birth work Heather loves to garden and is a budding herbalist, she does calligraphy and chalkboard lettering on the side, and loves to stay at home and explore with Atlas. It is her hope that women and birthing families feel confident and empowered to nurture birth as a sacred and beautiful experience, and to foster a safe space for mothers to support one another within the community.
